On January 30th, 1871, an idea took shape: The two visionaries Franz Detleff and William Goebel wanted to give porcelain a name. They founded what would become a trademark in the following years: the "F. & W. Goebel" manufactory of senses. The idea of the company founders still lives on today in the variety of products offered by the traditional Goebel brand. Goebel lets you experience how objects made of porcelain, glass or related materials become something very special through close cooperation with artists and designers.
