1793至1802年間創作，原作現藏於法國塞夫爾國家陶瓷博物館。
深紫色在18世紀的歐洲非常罕見，且極難應用於瓷器製作中。塞夫爾工坊在該世紀的最後十年成功解決了這一難題，由畫家勒·蓋（Le Guay）在金色裝飾的浮雕中呈現出「中國情景」。帷幕式的裝飾風格不僅展現了煥然一新的藝術靈感，還為畫面增添了濃厚的戲劇感。

1793 – 1802, original is housed in the National Ceramics Museum in Sèvres, France
The dark purple, a color rarity in Europe’s 18th century, is extremely difficult to obtain on porcelain. The Sèvres workshops responded to the challenge in the last decade of the century and portrayed these « Chinese scenes » by the painter Le Guay in gold enhanced medallions. The decorative theme of the stage curtain emphasizes the renewed inspiration and conveys a theatrical effect to the pictures represented.
